Comcast has embarked on the industry’s first low latency DOCSIS (LLD) field trials, working in partnership with Apple, NVIDIA and Valve. According to Comcast, this emerging technology, which it is planning to make available to customers by the end of 2023, is a key component of the Xfinity 10G Network that has the potential to transform the performance of interactive applications and create a foundation for new consumer use cases that have yet to be imagined.
