Apple TV allow users to stream four games in one Screen, but there’s a catch
There is a new experience for Apple users to enjoy more of their sports streaming on the platform, as the previous beta feature of showcasing four games in one screen is slowly rolling out to all. The Apple TV app would now allow users to enjoy watching four games in one, particularly when all these games are available at the same time.
Its latest offers for subscribers help in delivering all-sports content on one screen and would avoid shuffling through channels and have them buffering to load the live game for users.
Apple TV Allows Four Games to stream on One Screen
As per the first report from MacRumors, Apple is now slowly rolling out the features to subscribers that allow streaming four games on one screen, if there are simultaneous matches available. The company brought this feature over the weekend and is arriving for some users already, one which its beta testers have previously enjoyed.
The Cupertino giant has not yet announced anything about the multi-view, so do not expect all devices to have it immediately, as part of the tvOS 16.5 release.
Still, it is a good way to enjoy different matches from multiple leagues and streaming partners of Apple, already available in the TV app.
Apple TV’s New Feature: What’s the Catch?
TechRadar said that Apple TV’s multi-view feature available on the app is exclusive to the Apple TV 4K device only, and means that older versions of the black box would not receive this from the company. It is also expected that Apple will announce this feature in the coming week, or if not, as part of the tvOS 17 when it is announced via WWDC 2023.
Apple TV and its Streaming Features
The Cupertino giant is growing its paid subscriptions that give users something to enjoy with some of the most prized perks in the world, and this includes the streaming features of the company. In 2022, Apple claimed that there are as many as 900 million paid subscriptions to its services, being a significant part of the company’s operations for the year.
Apple recently made its move to expand more of the Apple TV experiences to users with its T-Mobile partnership, one that centers on a free show to stream via the service. It was a bundle for T-Mobile subscribers only, where they could add the Major League Soccer (MLS Season Pass) without additional costs, bringing football matches to their subscriptions via the “On Us” program of the telco.
With the massive move for Apple TV’s sports streaming features now the center of the experience, the company is looking for more ways for subscribers to enjoy different games without the need to surf on its platform. It is important to note that this is only available for the Apple TV 4K devices, and only one show would have sounds available on the simultaneous stream.
